Hasanuddin Advanced Studies in Agrocomplex Sciences Journal (HAS-ASC Journal) is an international peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research articles and review papers in the field of agrocomplex sciences, covering integrated and advanced studies across agriculture, food, agroindustry, environment, and socio-economic systems related to agro-based resources.

The journal places particular emphasis on tropical and Indonesian agrocomplex systems, including upstream–downstream integration, sustainable resource utilization, agroindustrial innovation, and local wisdom–based technologies, while also welcoming contributions from other regions with comparable agro-ecological characteristics.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to:

  • Agricultural and plantation sciences

  • Food science and technology

  • Agroindustrial systems and processing

  • Biotechnology and bioresources

  • Postharvest technology and value-added products

  • Sustainable agriculture and environmental management

  • Agrocomplex economics, policy, and rural development

  • Smart agriculture, digitalization, and innovation in agro-based systems

Hasanuddin Advanced Studies in Agrocomplex Sciences Journal is published twice a year (June and December) by Universitas Hasanuddin.

All submitted manuscripts must be original works that have not been previously published and are not under consideration elsewhere. Each manuscript will undergo a single-blind peer-review process conducted by independent reviewers. Final decisions regarding manuscript acceptance are made by the Editorial Board based on reviewers’ recommendations.
