Author Online Use

  • Personal or Institutional Server
Authors and/or supervisors may post the accepted manuscript (pre-print/accepted version) or a revised personal version of the final text (reflecting changes from peer review and editorial processes) on the author’s personal website, supervisor’s website, or an institutional repository/server without prior permission from Respobio Journal, provided that the posted version clearly displays the journal’s copyright notice and, once the article is published, includes a complete bibliographic citation and a link to the article page/abstract on the Respobio Journal website. Authors are not permitted to upload or distribute the final published (typeset) version of the article.

  • Classroom Use or Internal Training
Authors may use and post parts of their article for teaching, training, or internal institutional/company purposes (e.g., lecture materials, conference presentations, course packs, and in-house training modules), as long as the material includes a visible copyright statement, proper credit, and clear reuse notices.

  • Electronic Preprints and Previously Posted Manuscripts
Authors may have posted earlier versions of their manuscripts (e.g., working papers or preprints) on personal/institutional websites or other non-commercial platforms for scholarly feedback. Upon submission to Respobio Journal, authors must ensure that any previously posted version is updated with an appropriate copyright notice. After the article is published, authors must update or replace previously posted versions with one of the following options:
    (1) a full citation including the DOI (if available) and/or a link to the article page/abstract on the Respobio Journal website; or
    (2) the accepted version only (not the final published version), accompanied by the journal’s copyright notice, complete citation, and a link directing readers to the final published article on the journal website.
