Respobio Journal: Postharvest and Biotechnology in Food is an international peer-reviewed journal that publishes research and review article on postharvest and biotechnology in food with a special emphasis on harvesting, processing, biotechnology, packaging, distribution, marketing and consumption phases particularly in Indonesian foods, as well as other regions that have similar or relevant to Indonesian food. The topics of the articles may include but are not limited to the functional, microbiology, chemistry and sensory aspects of contemporary foods.
Respobio journal is published twice a year in April and October by the Research Group for Postharvest Technology and Biotechnology (Respobio) on behalf of the Hasanuddin University. All submitted articles shall never be published and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Articles submitted to Respobio Journal will undergo a thorough single-blind peer-review process. The acceptance of articles is decided by Editorial Board based on reviewer's recommendation.
History
Respobio journal began its first publication on October 16 2024. This journal used English. Meanwhile, the implementation of the policy listed in the publication ethics and author guidelines began in volume 1 of issue 1 in 2024. For further information can be seen here.
